My favorite number and one of my favorite flowers... the daisy.
The history of Sunday Grateful 8… I have a gratitude journal that sits on our living room coffee table. I write in it daily, listing 5 things I am grateful for each day (and yes, I miss a day here or there). I’ve encouraged my husband and kids to write in it as well, however, I can probably count how many times they have made entries on one hand… collectively. I love those entries! Does it bother me? No. I do this for me. When I feel grateful, I attract more things in my life to be grateful for and my focus and attention goes towards the abundance of all things wonderful.
I used to blog Sundays on My Grateful 8 gratitude list. I miss those Sunday blogs, so here I am again. Eight things I’m grateful for. Why eight? It’s my favorite number, my birthday is 8/8 and though I haven’t had my numbers read, numerology says this about 8… Number 8 is the most powerful of all numbers. You are inspiring, result-oriented, powerful, ambitious, visionary, generous, perseverant, forgiving, broad-minded, money-conscious and self-disciplined. You have the potential for enormous success and the possibility to accumulate great wealth. You are also a good judge of character a natural leader and a survivor.
In this moment, the 8 things I’m grateful for over the past week…
- My man sleeping over the past 4 days – finding moments of comfort after having a two hour major surgical procedure on his mouth resulting in lots of pain.
- Little girls giggling in my house.
- Danielle LaPorte having a birthday and generously offering her Fire Starter Sessions at a ‘you name the price’ sale!
- Spending 60 minutes on GIRLS Talk Radio sharing with my 3 girlfriend and colleagues about how choosing a word, yes, a word, can affect our lives.
- New connections.
- Spontaneously seeing Sex and the City 2!!

- Inspired creations – ebook, videos, downloads, worksheets and classes for my subscribers.
- Deciding to post my Sunday Grateful 8′s again. I’m back baby, I’m back.

What a nice idea. Maybe I’ll start this at my house. It is always so easy to get distracted by the negative things and forget how much I have to be grateful for! Thanks!
Your welcome. So true Danae – our natural tendency is to be distracted and can easily get kicked off balance by life. Writing in a gratitude journal really helps to shift your focus. The craziest thing can happen and you will notice yourself finding the good in it!
